The lies that bombard our minds on a daily basis seek to rename us, altering our identity, and ultimately our destiny. They speak fear, insecurity, guilt, shame, and condemnation over us freely in an attempt to get us to answer to them. They understand that once we begin to answer to those names, we submit ourselves to their control. They seek to imprison us.
God, on the other hand, speaks truth, grace, healing, love, and freedom over us. These are the keys that unlock the chains that hold us captive. He has already won the battle and given us the power to be set free from the lies that bind us. He has purchased our freedom, but we must choose to walk in it.
