My heartfelt sympathies go out to all who suffered loss and devastation overnight due to the strong storms and outbreak of tornadoes.
Although it is heartbreaking that some individuals will take advantage of others through looting, it is quite a wonderful thing to see the care and concern of many who are reaching out to offer assistance to those in need. My heart is always deeply touched by the ability of Americans to come together during times like this without a second thought.
Devastating circumstances are always drastic reminders of what is truly important in life. Now that the storm has passed it will take the help of many to restore all that has been lost. Each day of life we are given is a gift. Not one of us knows what tomorrow will bring.
Both storms of nature and storms of life can appear suddenly, bringing complete destruction and great devastation. The good news is that no storm lasts forever, and we have hope of healing and restoration as we walk forward and sort through the debris left behind with the help of those that surround us.
In the wake of this storm remember TOM and that, “Together with the Lord and those He has placed around us, we can Overcome even the most daunting Mountains.”
May God bless all who have been affected by this storm and may we all continue to look for ways to help those around us who are in need.
Blessings!
